Being an Expert!
Today our class, as experts, went to room 5 and taught the older children how to play our card games! It was lots of fun and I was very proud of how the children managed themselves! Here are some shots from our morning!
Toy Day - Labelled Diagrams
As part of our toy day the children had to revisit drawing a labelled diagram. They needed to think how they could improve from last time. They did really well drafting their ideas and feeding back to each other with how they could change things. I was very impressed with their final diagrams. Here are some of the children work.
Zentangle Apples!
For art this week we have been looking at lines with a focus on zentangles. We created these fabulous apples. As they say ' an apple a day, keeps the teacher at bay'! I love how the children have used simple patterns to create something so eye catching! Thank you to all the helpers who helped make the tree and pin the apples on!

Saffron and her hair dolls!
On Friday a number of children made cardboard hair dolls, which can be seen in a previous blog. Saffron enjoyed it so much she went home and created 27 more for the class! They are fantastic and all have their own name! I love how che used pictures of animals for the faces and vegetable! What great ideas your have Saffron! The kids loved looking at them today and I am sure they will get lots of fun from them! Great work Saffron! What perseverance you have!
Self Portraits
We have been busy drawing self portraits over the last couple of weeks. The children have made a fabulous job of drawing themselves and colouring them in with crayon!
